Tipful Tuesday - New Uses for Old Things

I normally don't do a lot of web surfing, but Pinterest is another story.  ♥♥♥  I only joined Pinterest and starting pinning maybe a month ago and that site truly amazes me.

Something that truly gets me all giddy inside is when I find a tip or trick or idea that seems so simple and I wonder....'Why didn't I think of that?' or 'Who knew?'

Most of these are probably items many of you if not all of you have around the house.  I often wonder if my little ole' blog readers know about these little life tricks and tips.

Today, I thought I'd share some new ideas (at least new to me) to make your life just a little easier.

Use a straightening iron to press buttons; where an iron don't fit....source

Use an old ketchup bottle as a pancake dispenser....source

Add a cup of Tang drink powder to your toilet bowl and let it sit over night.  Brush it lightly in the morning, and you'll be amazed by how clean and white it will be.

Easily clean your dishwasher with a package of Lemonade Kool-Aid.  The citric acid in the mix wipes out stains so you won't have to!  source

Get Rid of Ants - Use this nice little recipe and you'll get rid of the petsy little things....source

Pack a travel size bottle of baby powder in your beach bag. Then at the end of the day, all you have to do is rub the baby powder on the skin. source

Keeping matching sheets together in the closet -  Tuck the sheet set inside one of its pillowcases, and then stack according to size  source

Use a cupcake liner as a drip catcher to prevent sticky fingers...source

Hopefully you found some tips or tricks to make your life a little easier.  J

Have to remember the one with the ice lolly. It's horrible getting melted sticky goo all over fingers! Thanks for the tips.
